Tyler Waldon-Lee<\/strong>\"\"<\/a><\/h2>\n

Tyler is a sixth-year Ph.D. student in Dr. O\u2019Brien\u2019s lab. He earned his B.S. in psychology from Georgia Gwinnett College. His interests focus on the processes of stereotypes, prejudice, stigma, and discrimination and their impact on the criminal justice system, education, and intergroup relationships. Maria is a fourth-year Ph.D. student working with Dr. Laurie O\u2019Brien and Dr. Damian Murray. <\/a>She earned her B.A. in psychology at Le Moyne College and her M.A. in experimental psychology at the University of Dayton. Ally Whyte is a senior at Tulane University in the School of Science and Engineering, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Strategy, Leadership, and Analytics (expected graduation May 2026). Her research interests focus on child psychology and the development of social-emotional skills, and she is passionate about the intersection of clinical practice and psychoeducation. After graduation, Ally aspires to pursue graduate studies in counseling or social work and ultimately become a therapist. Grace Taylor is a junior in the Class of 2027 at Tulane University majoring in Psychology with minors in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Social Work. She is interested in supporting individuals with mental health challenges and advancing equitable access to care, with particular focus on gender equity, reproductive health, and the rights of underrepresented communities. Juliane will be graduating in Spring 2027 with a major in Political Science and Psychology and a minor in Homeland Security. Her research interests involve the intersectionality of psychology, law, and public policy. She is especially interested in how implicit bias and structural inequalities influence sentencing, treatment, and rehabilitation outcomes, and how interdisciplinary, psychology-informed approaches can promote fairness, accountability, and reintegration.
